CLOVIS, CA – The Doc Buchanan (“Doc B”) invitational is quite possibly the toughest tournament in California right now, outside the state tournament. When you add in teams from across the US, it rivals many of the top high school tournaments in the country.
As Coach Adam Tirapelli wrote in the per-tournament review, “100 teams are represented from 6 states, the Doc Buchanan has become one of the premier wrestling events in the United States, likely the single toughest tournament on the West coast annually. By maintaining its 32-man bracket roots with selective invites, it has become the “Ironman-style” tournament of the West.”
